A WHOLE HISTORY

The design of Bouaké’s Stadium was carefully devised in Côte d’Ivoire’s second largest city after Abidjan.

It was inaugurated in 1984, and since then has hosted a succession of national and international cultural and sporting events.

At the time, it was purpose-built to host the African Cup of Nations football tournament, and has been maintained and renovated on numerous occasions to ensure it always meets international standards.
Today, it is an iconic landmark for the city of Bouaké.

WHAT IS ITS CULTURAL VALUE?

The stadium has been designed to host a large number of matches, with the Côte d’Ivoire national team competing on multiple occasions against other countries in the African Cup of Nations and international youth tournaments.

A lot of time was spent on its design, and the turf that covers the pitch is natural.
